Scope of Services:

The University Counseling Engagement is a professional educational consulting service designed to provide students and their families with strategic guidance throughout the college admissions process. University Navigator, Inc. provides only those professional consulting services expressly included within the selected engagement. Services are limited to those specifically described on the website and in the Client Engagement Agreement.

The University Counseling Engagement includes the following professional services:

• Academic planning and educational strategy

• Course selection guidance

• College admissions planning

• Extracurricular activity planning

• Letters of recommendation planning

• Personal statement and admissions essay review (as included within the selected package)

• Scheduled Zoom consultation sessions (as included within the selected package)

• Educational consulting relating to the student’s academic and college admissions planning

  Consultations are advisory in nature and are intended to provide professional guidance,

  recommendations, and strategic planning based upon the student’s educational objectives.

Scope Limitations:

The University Counseling Engagement is limited to the services expressly identified within the selected package.

Professional services not expressly included within the purchased engagement constitute separate consulting services and require a separate written agreement and fee before work begins.

The scope of services shall not be expanded by telephone conversations, email communications, text messages, or verbal discussions unless confirmed in writing by University Navigator, Inc.

University Navigator, Inc. reserves the right to determine whether a client's request falls within the scope of the original engagement or constitutes a separate consulting project.

Any additional professional services approved by University Navigator, Inc. will be quoted separately before work commences.

Entire Agreement Clause:

The services included within each engagement are limited to those expressly described on this website and in the Client Engagement Agreement. No verbal discussions, emails, text messages, or subsequent requests shall modify the scope of services unless confirmed in writing by University Navigator, Inc. University Navigator, Inc. does not provide legal advice. Clients requiring legal advice should consult an attorney licensed in the appropriate jurisdiction.

Educational Disclaimer:

Admission to any college or university cannot be guaranteed. University Navigator, Inc. provides professional educational consulting designed to improve a student’s preparation and application strategy. Final admissions decisions are made solely by each institution.

Independent Research:

Independent research projects including transfer-credit evaluations, university specific course analyses, articulation agreement reviews, customized educational reports, and institution specific research are not included within the University Counseling Engagement and are quoted separately.

Services Not Included:

• Independent university research

• Transfer-credit evaluations

• Articulation agreement analysis

• Contacting colleges or universities

• Contacting admissions offices

• Meetings with schools

• Legal matters

• School disciplinary matters

• Appeals

• Preparation of customized reports

• Scholarship searches

• Financial aid counseling (unless separately offered)

• Visa or immigration matters

• Translation services

  Any service not expressly identified as included within the selected engagement shall constitute a separate consulting engagement requiring a separate written agreement and fee.

Special Projects:

• School disciplinary matters

• Academic appeals

• University research

• Transfer strategy

• Educational pathway evaluations

• Customized reports

• International educational consulting

Family Participation Clause:

The University Counseling Engagement is intended to provide educational consulting for one student. While parents or guardians are encouraged to participate in scheduled consultations, services are provided on behalf of the enrolled student. Extensive consultations involving multiple family members or additional participants may require a separate consulting arrangement.

Change in Scope:

During the course of an engagement, clients may request services beyond the original scope. University Navigator, Inc. reserves the right to determine whether such requests constitute additional consulting services requiring a separate written agreement and fee.

Communications Policy:

Routine email communications necessary to schedule appointments or clarify matters discussed during scheduled consultations are included. Extensive communications, recurring strategy discussions, or consultations conducted outside scheduled meetings may constitute additional consulting services at the discretion of University Navigator, Inc.
